I am a retired teacher and diagnostician.  I have enjoyed drawing all of my life but didn't start painting until I retired from the HEB School District in 2005.  I  started in watercolor and now work in oils and acrylics also.  I have taken lessons from several local artists/teachers and I attend numerous demonstrations and workshops annually.

I have shown my art at the Trinity Arts Guild Gallery, Haltom's Art in the Citty Gallery, local libraries and municipal buildings.  Several of my paintings have won awards ranging from best of show to honorable mention.
